Retirement - I know the “R” word...
To all of my dear and valuable customers, thank you so much for supporting me and my family over the past 30 years. I have truly enjoyed helping you and hope to continue.
In August I was 71 years old. Am I retiring?? not completely. I will continue to be your handyman as long as I am feeling good and loving what I do. BUT I will be honest, I want to slow down a bit. With that in mind, effective immediately I will only be servicing customers that I consider family, those people who have been taking care of me over the years (long term established customers). I want to make sure I am available in a reasonable time to take care of your needs. Therefore, I will not be taking on new customers. Please don’t put me on neighborhood lists, Angie's list, etc. I am here only for you.
My new schedule will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
My wife, Stephanie, and I have enjoyed going off in our RV and seeing the USA and grandbabies. We will be taking extended time off each year from the end of May thru the end of August.
I will keep my business cell phone, 817-337-4664 and my email is firstname.lastname@example.org. You can call, email or text service requests or if you just need advice.
I will keep my website. I also have brought in a wonderfully talented friend, Tony, who is available for those tasks I'm not up to anymore. Handymanbytony.com.
I also need a method of communicating more directly with everyone so I have been collecting email addresses so I can construct a client list to use to let you know my time off plans and just to stay in touch.
Thank you and we'll be talking.
